x as the letter x, wings of a windmill, x in awindow, x on a pylone. I wanted to illustrate x as xylocope( abeille charpentière, carpenter bee) bit I could not find any of these dangerous bees today.
X is a challenge, especially for the third time. I thought about eXit and giving the ABC Wednesday a break for a while, but I think I am almost addicted to the challenge ... and you are such a nice group of bloggers!

With each new round it gets harder to find an unused X word for ABC Wednesday.

Oooooops! I'm a letter behind! I was gone last Wednesday so I still had 'W' to get out of my system!
X? No problem - it's just given me the chance to revisit a favourite poem and daydream a little...
