Re:- Mr Linky!
A few contributors last week said Mr Linky was working on other memes.......well the people then have not done as Mr Linky suggested, nay begged! Here is the message I received from Mr Linky.....
Hi — I’ll give you a news update soon, but if I could ask everyone a HUGE favor — please please please would you REMOVE the header script from your template. It looks something like this line — note, it might single or double quotes, and type “type” and “scr” parts might be reversed, the important thing is that it say “header.js” in it:
Just take it right out of there. It’s causing this terrible system load and I’ve promised our hosting service that I’d ask users to remove this, and that’s when they started the server back up. I’m taking steps to make sure the widgets will all work without it.
So, if you’d please please please do that, we’d all be wicked grateful. Thanks!

I'm not certain of this but I think the removal of the line the template header helps correct the problems at the linky server and that once removed the linky works ok - but I may have misread it since I'm not a lover of mr linky anyway.
I'll be posting a T post on my sithenah photoblog but it won't appear until around 7am UK time.

I'm on board in more ways than one. T is for TRAVEL of a certain kind.
There is an alternate Mr. Linky which is functioning, which I used on Odd Shots this week. It is not particularly satisfactory, though. I have removed the script from my template, so I am also waiting for enough people to do wo for Mr. Linky to be cooperative again.

As for Mr Linky - Aileni doesn't use the header script and it all works fine for him. Maybe it depends on what type you use.
